Smart Lock

Even with a smart lock, you still have to pull out your phone, open an app, and press a button. The problem isn’t the lock itself, it’s that no system can yet understand on its own when it’s really you, or that your hands are full, or that you’re genuinely trying to get in.

Wirem Lock is a software system that uses artificial intelligence to read data from the sensors already present in your smartphone (Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, gyroscope, accelerometer) to understand your intention before you have to do anything at all. The door opens without touching anything, because the system has understood it’s you that you’re approaching, that you want to come in.

It works on existing devices with no additional hardware and is compatible with the main smart lock platforms through open APIs. The artificial intelligence runs directly on the device, in Edge AI, so it works even without a connection.

Funded by the Government of the Canary Islands through the European Social Fund. MVP in development.

Wirem Lock currently has one specific use case, but its technology is designed to be applied across a range of contexts: smart buildings, tourism, automotive, and infrastructure represent just a few of the sectors where the solution can be implemented.

TheIPBox is looking for partners and investors who want to contribute to the development of the technology and its expansion into new markets.
