Deciding where to install a telecommunications tower is still a manual process, made up of site surveys and maps, and the result is often suboptimal. TheIPBox is developing software that automates this analysis. Through an algorithm supported by artificial intelligence, the system processes territorial data and returns the optimal point for positioning a micro-tower. The parameters are configurable across morphology, land registry data, coverage goals, and environmental constraints, and the result is a decision-support tool for telecom operators, public bodies, and anyone managing network infrastructure at a regional scale.
The base algorithm is defined; software development requires dedicated investment.
