Every year in the Canary Islands, too many people (hikers, kitesurfers, cyclists) go missing at sea, in the mountains, on cliffs, and the areas where they practice these sports often have no network coverage, meaning emergency services can’t locate them in time.

SafeyToo is a standalone IoT device, compact and solar self-powered, designed to be installed in remote and hard-to-reach environments. It uses LoRa technology to create lightweight, resilient connection points, capable of collecting and transmitting position and health data to monitoring platforms and emergency services. It requires no existing infrastructure, it’s installed wherever it’s needed and works on its own.

SafeyToo is a project with measurable social impact and proprietary technology, developed for a market that spans from outdoor sports to smart cities, from active tourism to institutional-level emergency management.
